Beijing Royal School Has Become One of the First Test Centers for Certificate for Bilingual Teachers Competency（CBTC）

The 22^nd China Annual Conference & Expo for International Education (Hereinafter referred as CACIE) was held at Beijing International Convention Center from 21^st to 23^rd October, 2021. Under the theme of “New Opportunities and Prospects for Building an Open High-Quality Education System”, CACIE  hosted dozens of parallel seminars with diverse topics. Educators, governments, businesses and leaders and representatives of all sectors from home and abroad were invited to extensively and deeply discuss specific matters in education at all levels and in all fields.

 

 

At the “Bilingual Teachers' Professional Development Forum” held on the morning of 21^st October, Mr. Cen Jianjun, the Director of Committee on Study Abroad Services of China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE),  addressed the event. The Academic Dean of Beijing Royal School, Ms. Liu Hongjuan, as the representative of BRS,  discussed and communicated with other guests on “Training Practice for Bilingual Teachers with Chinese Characteristics” at the roundtable forum.

 

Following the roundtable forum, Ms. Zheng Zhen, Deputy General Manager of Fazheng International Education, delivered a keynote speech with the topic of “Seize the Opportunity of Enhancing Professional Competence and Stimulate High-Quality Development of Bilingual Teachers”. At the end of the seminar, Beijing Royal School was authorized as a test center for Certificate for Bilingual Teachers Competency（CBTC）, becoming one of the first in China.

 

During the seminar on “Widening the International Lens for Teachers and Students”, Mr. Heng Xiaojun, Vice Chairman of the Professional Committee of Sino-Foreign Cooperative Education Of the China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE), also the Principal of Beijing Royal School, gave a speech on behalf of the organizer and spoke on “Cultivate High-Quality Versatile Talents with Chinese Mindset and Global Vision.”

 

 

With generous support from the Ministry of Education, approved by the State Council, CACIE is an annual event in international education held by China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE) since 2000. It is currently the largest comprehensive platform for education cooperation and exchanges in China, and also one of the most influential comprehensive international education gatherings in Asia.
