On 23rd October, with the theme of “Chasing Dream for Four Decades, Building Future with Innovation,” the Educational Testing Service (ETS) hosted a symposium in Beijing in celebration of the 40th anniversary of the TOEFL and GRE tests in China and also released the “TOEFL China 40 People in 40 Years” list. Mr. Wang Guangfa, the Chairman of Fazheng Group, Chairman of Jiahui Education, Founder of Fazheng International Education and Principal of Royal School， was honored on the list.
This symposium reflected on four decades’ development of TOFEL and GRE in China and discussed the role of international talents cultivation, development of international education, English language learning and assessment in the new era and higher education in facilitating cross-cultural exchanges and understanding. Leaders and representatives from the China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE), the Department of International Cooperation and Exchanges of the Ministry of Education (MOE), the National Education Examinations Authority (NEEA), the Beijing Education Examinations Authority, ETS and other organizations attended the seminar. Mr. Wang Guangfa, as the Founder of Fazheng International Education, has been invited to deliver a speech.

And Beijing Royal School, owned by Fazheng International Education, was authorized by ETS and NEEA to build a TOEFL test center in 2008, and was awarded the official Partner School in China by TOEFL Junior in 2017, and was granted “Gold Member of ETS TOFEL English Learning Authority” as well as becoming the first strategic cooperative partner of ETS in China in 2019. At the same time, Beijing Royal School has been officially rated as ETS’s Model International School in China and has been awarded the “Partner of ETS with Outstanding Contribution”.
