Charitable course radiates warmth as spring settles in. In the spring semester of 2022, the “Educational Poverty Alleviation Project: Remote Satellite Classroom at Liangshan Prefecture”, supported by Fazheng Group, funded by Beijing Royal Charity Foundation and jointly undertaken by Beijing Royal School and Chengdu Royal Foreign Language School, has been officially launched on 1st March! During the past two years, despite the long distance, Fazheng Group has taken the duty of assisting Liangshan Prefecture with education revitalization after eradicating poverty by building “remote interactive classrooms” and constantly sharing teaching resources from first-tier cities with Liangshan Prefecture relying upon remote teaching platform and top quality faculty resources of Royal Education Brand. Through nurturing qualified teachers, we have opened up a new channel combining education assistance and teacher training at Liangshan Prefecture.
The “Long-Distance Classroom” overcomes barriers of space, follows the path of Fazheng Group in paired-up assistance and heavily pours in teaching resources, development funds and teaching instruction, building a bridge connecting Xichang Minority Preschool Teachers college at Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture and Royal Education Brand.
On 1st March, amidst the cheerful singing of children, the 18-week moral education course customized for the Department of Ideology and Politics of Xichang Minority Preschool Teachers college has been launched, starting with a demonstration lesson of “Spring Breezes Welcome Leifeng” delivered by the first-grade teachers and students from Chengdu Royal Foreign Language School. The expert team of Beijing Royal School's Remote Satellite Project office has crafted the “International Understanding Taught by Foreign Teachers” to offer rich and diverse interpretation of Chinese culture, promote the global vision of college students at Liangshan Prefecture and further cement mutual understanding. The Primary School Section of Beijing Royal School has made great efforts to create a demonstration course of “Comprehensive Practice in Primary Schools” in accordance with the urgent needs of building comprehensive courses for Xichang Minority Preschool Teachers college. The innovative class design, flexible teaching methods and novel international teaching methods of Chinese and foreign teachers at Royal Foreign Language School are nothing short of refreshing, showcasing the efficient multidisciplinary comprehensive classes of Beijing Royal School and Chengdu Royal Foreign Language School, inspiring teachers and students at Liangshan Prefecture to think and reform and facilitating the upgrading and development of teaching at minority areas.
Unlike the primary school teaching courses in practice, “Royal Remote Course”, as a compulsory course at Xichang Minority Preschool Teachers college, requires teachers to complete demonstration class and receive the theoretical training originally designed for teacher training programs, besides finishing the regular teaching. In spite of the heavy-duty work, colleagues from the Royal School still undertake the glorious mission of remote teaching with professionalism, hard work and devotion. By the spring semester of 2022, the Royal School has provided 345 hours of “distance courses” for the higher education at Liangshan Prefecture and trained nearly 900 normal college students in 20 classes, with the teaching time up to 15,525 minutes. Behind these big numbers is the warm and firm charitable contribution from Fazheng Group to the Liangshan Prefecture.
With indefatigable determination, mountains can be removed; with unshakable resolution, oceans can be filled up! 2022 marks a strategic year for Liangshan region to develop an effective mode integrating poverty alleviation and rural revitalization as well as accumulating experience.
